Financial Matters
Reeve raised that there are still some outstanding A&S monies. That is being rectified.
We discussed making it a Baronial policy that the officers running both the Monday night Fighter practice and the Tuesday night Arts and Sciences having no more than 2 weeks to get the monies banked and the paperwork uploaded. Both Christopher as Baronial Marshal running Monday nights and Alexandria as Arts and Sciences Minister both believed this was do able.
It was proposed that it be made Baronial policy that the monies from Fighter Practice and Arts and Sciences be banked and the forms loaded no more than 2 weeks after occurring unless they get permission for the Reeve for an extension. Raised Gabriel. Seconded Juliana. Passed
The Baronial Reeve wanted to remind everyone that event takings need to be banked within 3 days after the event and any refunds or onsite expenses cannot come out of the event takings.
Quarterly Reports
I have received the Baronial reports from the Arts and Sciences Minister, Marshal, Deputy Marshal for Rapier, Herald, Hospitaller and the Captain of Archers. Thankyou to these officers for reporting. I will submit reports for Constable and Chronicler.

Recruitment Team
As per the post on Facebook, Gabriel has asked Sebastian, Christopher and Safiya to head up a small team to look at recruitment within the Barony. They will go over old and hopefully new ideas and put the forward to the Barony for consideration.
A&S Hall Hire renewal
I received correspondence from the Brisbane Visual Arts Community who run The Wellers Arts Hub where we have A & S ,that it is time to resign the hire agreement. There appears to be no change in the arrangement as we only pay for the time we are there and can stop at any time. Cosy is $15 an hour, so $60 for Arts and Sciences on a Tuesday night. Proposed to continue to holding Arts and Sciences at the current location. Raised Gabriel. Seconded: Gregorii. Motion passed.
I have asked Margot to the SCA’s representative at the Brisbane Visual Arts Community meetings as she is already going there.
Proposal to fund MOD to attend GNW
Motion from Amalia for approval of $250 to bring up a Master of Defense (MOD) for Great Northern War (GNW). Last year this was approved by St Florian even though GNW was run by the Barony of River Haven. The matter should also be viewed that if we approved funding to bring up a MOD to GNW, then it would be hard to say no if similar funding was requested funding to bring up a Knight, Laurel and Pelican. It was felt that this was not the best use of money or the skills of the expert, as a weekend collegia style event would be a better way to use the skills. It was proposed therefore that the request for $250 to bring up a Master of Defense for Great Northern War be declined. Raised Gabriel. Seconded Giuliana. Motion passed that it be declined.
Stationery approval
Request from Christopher for $70 for stamps and stationery for fighter practice. Raised Gabriel. Seconded Eleanor. Passed.
Next meeting: Fighter Practice on Monday 25/03/2019
