Sir Leofric Willoughby de Broke

Did you know…

Sir Leofric joined the SCA in 1995 and received his Award of Arms at High Hunt III in August 1997 from Prince Ragnar and Princess Bliss. He has served as Sciences Officer for the Shire of St Florian de la Riviere.

Leofric was one of the inaugural recipients of the award of the Metier (A&S award for the Barony) and was the first Baronesses Champion for Constanzia in September 2001. He won the second St Florian de la Riviere Baronial Championship in September 2002 and later in September 2011.

Leofric was laurelled in February 2002 for his wonderful medieval accoutrement (jewellery, armouring, shoes, and 15th century male Burgundian clothing).

Contrary to belief, Leofric was not squired to anyone and was the first Knight made in the Kingdom of Lochac at Great Northern War in August 2002. He still is wearing the same tabard.

He was made the Champion of Lochac after being defeated in the final by Duke Alaric of Bangor in May 2003.

Leofric won Rowany FAT (Fighter Auction Tourney) in 2018 facing Sir Rufus Adycote of Mynheniot in the final.

Leofric is known for being as graceful and courteous on the field as he is off. He is always willing to spend time talking through a fight and make sure you understand what happened.
