Officer Reports / Updates

Archery – Discussion over sharps practice and they option of conducting this at Jon the Hornmasters house rather than at Belmont. Grigorii to have discussion to work through alternatives and to finalise in the New Year.

New Event proposals

Great Northern War 2019. Refer attached Event bid. Same location as last two years, same price as last year. Less price rise points to make cheaper and easier for people to attend and keep track off. Raised Henri, seconded Gabriel, no objections. Event budget approved.

Other Business

Henry requests $500 for 2 x fencing masked. After discussion meeting agreed that two matching stainless steel gorgets should also be bought. The $500 was an increased allowance to cover both helmets and gorgets based on estimated costs. Raised Henry, seconded Wei Min, no objections, money approved.
Festival container. Rowany has advised that moving forward we will need to replace the 20’ container with a 40’ container. We are still chasing written confirmation on what the new requirements are. These will be resolved next year.
Gabriel has been ratified as the next Seneschal, starting the 1/1/2019. He is stepping up based on a one year term and will actively be seeking interested people to be mentored in a series of roles from event running to Seneschal replacement.
Most Baronial Officers will be changing over in the coming months. Marshal applications amongst others are now open.
New 2019 calendar planning white board. $24.97. Raised Henri, Seconded Gabriel, no objections. Funding approved.
Dalla interested in assisting with Quartermaster role to help sort out container storage.
