Other Business

• GNW interstate teacher expense for Janet ($250) to do classes on Silk banners the weekend before GNW and at GNW. Motioned by Wei Min and seconded by Tova. Objection by Rufus – ‘Not period’ was talked about. Motioned carried, funds approved.
• Mid Winter bid was won, this is the meeting approval for final budget. Original budget was for $60/head for 2 days. Additional costs occurred since initial bid was put together, budget revised to $70/head and $35/head off-board for 2 days. (Subsequent approval from Kingdom Bid Officer was sought and gained to increase price now). Motioned by Acacia and seconded by Alexandria, no objections, motion approved. Refer attached event budget for full approval figures.
• Shipping Container at GNW site has been bought and is on site. Henri request approval for additional funds for fit out. Pad Lock for $35, Shelving approx. $650. Discussed and agreed for pre-approval of $1000 to cover all fit out items. Motioned by Henri, Seconded by Roisin, no objections, funding approved. Insurance will also be looked into and reported back on, action by Henri.
• Baronial Coronets were discussed again. Previously approved in principle at prior meeting. Drake and Tova to run with process. Initial phase is to come up with time frame and proposal framework to submit to baronial council for review.
• Baronial Feasting Gear was raised by Tova. Currently no official Baronial set. After discussion, it was proposed that $300 be pre-approved for two feasting sets. Motioned by Tova, seconded by Acacia, no objections, funding approved.
• Archery lighting has been causing problems. Large wattage lights have been burning out and flipping circuit breakers. Proposed to buy new low wattage LED lights. Proposal for at least 3 lights worth up to $500. Motioned by Eliana, seconded by Siobhan, no objections, funding approved.
• Baronial Championship proposed to be held at the Moon Festival. (Note Moon Festival was subsequently cancelled due to low bookings so this item no longer required)
