New Event proposals

  • Abbey Demo Event. Request $100 float. Estimated pay to St Florian is $700. Refer attached for full details. Raised by Ann, Seconded by Acacia, no objections, event approved. After meeting note on discussion between Henri and Ann. Henri confirmed that additional events or side events at Abbey could not be covered by our insurance unless it was an approved SCA event. I.e. participating in another groups archery contest that requires our people to be covered by our insurance is not allowed. In short it is SCA event with SCA insurance or its not allowed and people must sign in to the other groups event and be covered by their insurance. So no archery at Abbey is covered by the SCA insurance.

Other Business

  • Lockable cupboard requested for the A&S hall to keep items locked away on site. Requested is for up to $300 for metal unit from Bunnings. Raised by Magret, seconded by Sarah, no objections, expense approved.
  • Proposed for the Barony to buy 10m of silk for silk banner painting classes for on selling to the group. Initially 10m proposed but after discussion this was upped to 20m to allow for future projects. The amount allowed for is $220. Raised by Wei Min, seconded by Merewenne, no objections, expense passed.
  • Additional GNW assets were requested. See below for details. $1600 requested. Raised by Henri, seconded by Magret, no objections, expense passed.
