Officer Reports / Updates 

  • Marshal – Light flickering at training.  Henri to send email to Bridge Club.  Post meeting followup.  Electrician has been out and taken a light away to look into it.  Fix to be advised.
  • Hospit – Meetup trial ended.  Will not continue with payment as didn’t see any real growth from it.
  • Constable – Raised idea of a pre-paid card that gets punched at training rather than having cash.  Eleanor to send through exact proposal to Seneschal and Reeve and we can refine and then bring to subsequent baronial meeting for sign off.
  • B&B – We’re at war with Mordenvale.  Come to Spring War.
  • A&S – Alexandria raised officially as A&S deputy.  No objections.

New Event proposals

  • Baronial Event on the 25th August.  Stewarded by Rufus.  Cost of $15 for full event with Feast.  $5 for day only. To be held at Cedar Vale.  Refer attached event budget for full event break down.  Rufus raised, Allie seconded, no objections. Event approved.

Other Business

  • Materials requested to make Baronial stools for people to sit on if they can’t kneel in court.  Made as part of the A&S class. Cost proposed at $34/stool so $70 requested. Requested by Allie, Seconded by Sebastian, no objection.  Funding approved.
  • Illumination set requested for A&S, to be kept at the hall.  Requested $50 by Alexandria. Seconded by Alain, no objections, funding approved.
  • Baronial Baldrics and Hat material float requested by Rufus.  $400.00. Raised Rufus, Seconded by Alexandria, no objections. Funding approved.
  • Constable requested some money for misc stationary for sign in.  Up to $50 requested. Raised Eleanor, seconded by Alexandria, no objections.  Funding approved.
  • ‘Square’ electronic payment systems discussed.  In short it was approved for use. We will begin with two units as a trial.  One for Monday night and one for Tuesday night trainings. The final approval was for 4 units total to allow for units for Events as well.  The use of electronic payments will be advertised for events that will have it and it will be advertised as a trial to facilitate easier payment.  The default is still cash payment if the device goes down for some reason (although this is supposed to be only a very small risk). No Baronial phone was approved.  Discussions agreed these devices will be for use on people’s personal phones. $240 requested for four devices by Henri, seconded by William, no objections. Funding approved.
